Nutritional Therapy

"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"

Hippocrates AD390

Why is Nutritional Therapy good for Sports Performance?

The body is like a finely-tuned vehicle, only more sophisticated as it has an inbuilt function to self-heal. Healthy proteins, fats and carbohydrates and water are all vital for energy, repair, growth, healthy brain function, etc. Vitamins and minerals are just as vital to ensure the body works properly. If your diet is not well balanced, it is not difficult to see where things might start to go wrong.

Did you know?
Food is not just fuel. Many of today's chronic illnesses (heart disease, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, etc) may be in part linked to poor diet and a stressful lifestyle.
