Women's Health
There are many stages in a woman's life when she needs expert support and advice.

Why would you be interested in Women's Health?

Many young women want to make informed choices about contraception or need help with their hormones or periods. Often having the time to discuss choices can make big changes in women's lives.

Many women struggle with PMS and the big hormonal changes following pregnancy.

The perimenopause is a poorly understood time in women's lives with hormonal changes that can severely affect daily living and relationships.

Around the time of the menopause itself, many women want advice and help about the changes they face and their choices including the option of HRT.

After the menopause there are many changes to a women's body, inlcuding vaginal atrophy and painful sex, which, with expert help, can be made easier and more manageable.

Did you know?
Four out of ten women are unhappy with the contraception they are currently using and this often leads to an unplanned pregnancy.

The perimenopause can start as early as the mid-thirties and for many women can last between five and ten years.
