Relaxation Massage

What is a Relaxation Massage?
Massage is the treatment and practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals.  Massage involves acting on the manipulating the client's body with pressure (structured, unstructured, stationary, and / or moving), tension, motion, or vibration done manually or with mechanical aids.  Target tissues may include muscles, tendons, ligament, skin, joints or other connective tissue, as well as lymphatic and / or organs of the gastrointestinal system.

This massge is tailored to the needs of the individual and can be soothing and gentle or deep and invigorating dependant on your needs and wishes.  The whole body can be treated or specific problen areas focused on.  It is a holisitc intuitive treatment that aids the body's innate healing powers and in which the health of the mind and body are treated as insepreable, with the effects of the emotions taken into account.

Ideal for alleviating stress, tension and their physical and emotional effects.  Deep tissue massage is also helpful in alleviating aches and pains in the neck, back, hips and shoulders, mobilising muscles and joints, RSI, WRULDS, improving sleep, hormonal and digestive issues and redusing migranes and headaches.  It also calms the mind and gently stimulates the elimination of toxins from the body.
